dc.description.abstract | Gondwana research (GR) celebrated its 25th anniversary in the year 2021 and to commemorate the event, this study provides a synthesis of the journal’s trends and evolution over 25 years since inception. We employ both performance analysis and science mapping technique of bibliometric analysis to explore the evolution of GR’s context and content. The context of the journal was examined using its publication and citation pattern, as well as the most productive research constituencies such as author, institute, country, and research articles. To examine the content of GR, the study employs keyword network anal ysis over three times slices: 1997–2006, 2007–2016 and 2017–2021. The findings record the phenomenal growth of GR both in terms of publication and citation counts. The keyword network analysis over three time slices suggests the evolution of scholarship published in GR. The study suggests potential future research direction in Earth Science and related research for the journal. | en_US |
